Legos. During our second unit on instructions & usability you’ll be working in groups of 3-5 to create a prototype model using Legos. Any basic set that contains loose, multi-purpose pieces will do for this, but obviously made-to-build kits (i.e. Lego Castle, Lego X-Wing Fighter, Lego Speed Boat, etc.) defeat the spirit  Since you will be deploying the Legos with a partner, you may choose to wait until the next unit and split the cost with them.
