He has just entered his third year as an undergrad student, and plans to receive his degree in May of 2016. After graduation, his main goal is to work to help research and design new and sustainable forms of alternatives from oil-based energy. Andrew is a member of the Institution of Chemical Engineers (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.icheme.org\/\">IChE<\/a>) and also a member of the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/cuse.com\/roster.aspx?rp_id=10135&amp;path=crew\">varsity crew team<\/a> at Syracuse. He is proficient in the use of Microsoft Office \u2013 particularly Excel \u2013 as well as the computational program MatLab. This past summer Andrew spent three weeks backpacking across Europe; traveling to France, Italy, Germany, and Holland. Although born in the Bronx, NY, he now lives with his parents slightly more north in Westchester, NY. When not studying or at practice, Andrew enjoys spending his free time reading the <i>A Song of Ice and Fire<\/i> book series, skiing, and hopelessly teaching himself French. She started her university career at SUNY Potsdam, where she stayed for two years before transferring to Syracuse University. Kelly plans to use her degree to help her father manage their family business, with future goals of becoming a CPA. In the past, Kelly has worked with her father at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.performancewire.com\">family business<\/a>, but has also expanded her experiences through internship opportunities. Through these professional experiences, Kelly has had interaction with multiple interfaces for business systems, such as <a href=\"http:\/\/quickbooks.intuit.com\/\">QuickBooks<\/a> and Traverse Accounting and Business Software by Open Systems. She was born and raised in Central New York, where she spends time helping the community through events sponsored by the local American Legion. Aside from residing in Central New York, Kelly enjoys spending any free time in the northern part of the state, where her family has a camp on the Saint Lawrence River. When she\u2019s not hanging out on the riverbank, there\u2019s a good likelihood that Kelly can be found <i>attempting<\/i> to cook a recipe she found on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pinterest.com\/\">Pinterest<\/a>, or trying to catch a good nap. Smith College of Engineering at Syracuse University. His passion is in the field of chemical engineering where he hopes to graduate in 2016 and go into the pharmaceutical industry as a career path. Currently, he is a part of many organizations such as <a href=\"http:\/\/national.shpe.org\/\">SHPE<\/a>, Syracuse University Ambulance, <a href=\"http:\/\/cgpa.syr.edu\/\">CSTEP<\/a>, Theta Tau Fraternity and a member of the Syracuse Club Quidditch team. This summer Francisco Caamano went back to his hometown in New York City and spent the last part of the summer going to the NILA Conference in San Diego, California; where he developed leadership skills to run his own student chapter in Syracuse. As a chemical engineer, he has expansive experience with reading scientific chemical engineering research papers; this can aide in others understanding of intellectual writing. Comprehension and usage of technical software is an important skill in engineering; that is why he is an expert in softwares such as Matlab, Excel and MathCard. Many would think that life of an engineer is full of headaches from calculations and long sleepless nights; however, an interesting fact about Francisco Caamano is that he socializes with his fraternity brothers and plays quidditch at the same time while keeping a high scholastic agenda. Chandran<\/b> is from Irvine, California but is currently pursuing a double major in Retail Management and Supply Chain Management from Syracuse University\u2019s Whitman School of Business. She is in her third year at school and upon graduating in the Spring of 2016, Anisha hopes to be a buyer in women\u2019s fashion for a well-known company. This past summer Anisha spent her time externing for<a href=\"http:\/\/www.rossstores.com\">Ross<\/a> in both the planning and buying departments as well as interning for finance company,<a href=\"http:\/\/www.statestreetglobalservices.com\/wps\/portal\/internet\/ssgs\/home\/!ut\/p\/c4\/04_SB8K8xLLM9MSSzPy8xBz9CP0os3i_0CADCydDRwP_IGdnA08Tc38fINvYwMlYPzg1Lz40WL8g21ERACJFbbY!\/\">State Street<\/a>, in the investment management servicing aspect of the business. In her internship with State Street, Anisha was a member of the bank loans team and was instrumental in processing clients\u2019 bank loan trades with a broker and agent bank. She was born and raised in Plano, TX. Rachel had an internship with the Advanced Networking Systems &#8211; Internet team at Fidelity Investments this summer. She doesn&#8217;t know what she wants to do as a career yet, but is thinking about becoming an IT contractor for the Army, since her fianc\u00e9 is in the Texas National Guard. She has ample experience in creative writing, <a href=\"http:\/\/fyeahgothicarchitecture.tumblr.com\/\">blogging<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/theofficialgrammarpolice\">social media<\/a>, but very little in professional writing. She is, however, pretty good at most computer programs, and can usually figure them out even if she hasn&#8217;t used them before. Rachel is, as the third link above indicates, the creator and admin of the Facebook page The Grammar Police, which currently has over 125,000 fans. She will correct your grammar, but will try not to be obnoxious about it. Fun fact: Rachel played the cello for seven years in middle and high school, and will gladly beg her parents to ship her instrument from Texas to Syracuse if someone asks her to join their band. Jiang<\/b> is currently a senior majoring in Retail Management and Supply Chain management at Syracuse University. On campus, Tian is the Master of Rituals of Alpha Kappa Psi Fraternity and one of two project leaders for<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ebay.com\/usr\/3fifteensyr\">3fifteen-eBay<\/a>. In the fall semester of 2013, she studied abroad in Hong Kong, China. During her time there, she was exposed to multiple cultures and had many eye-opening experiences. Most of Tian\u2019s retail experiences come from Zara and Duane Reade by Walgreens. At Zara, Tian gained hands-on experience as a sales associate in the women\u2019s department. Her work in the sales floor helped her acquire knowledge about retail store operations and strategies of fast fashion. As a community Management Intern at Duane Reade by Walgreens in the summer of 2014, Tian was able to learn about a whole different market of retail; which is retail pharmacy. At Duane Reade by Walgreens, she established store management skills and deepened her understanding with retail store operations. When Tian is home from school, she likes to spend time with her family, especially her 5 year old sister. She lives to eat and can always be caught shopping. He aspires to integrate his interests by applying the managerial and business aspects from the Whitman School of Management to a medical discipline. Lincoln has expressed an interest in orthopedic surgery, as it provides a balance of medicine as well as the artistic aesthetics required of surgery. He is currently the Vice President of Finance at <a href=\"http:\/\/phidenynu.org\">Phi Delta Epsilon <\/a>International Medical Fraternity, and is involved with several other organizations throughout campus. His interests outside of academics include design, fashion, crossfit, soccer, and lacrosse &#8211; among others. Lincoln loves to travel and frequently travels with his family when not in school. He\u00a0is starting the 4th year of his\u00a0doctorate in Composition and Cultural Rhetoric at SU\u00a0this year and hopes to finish in 2016. Most of Jason&#8217;s professional writing experience comes from directing\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=http%3A%2F%2Fwc.syr.edu&amp;sa=D&amp;sntz=1&amp;usg=AFrqEzcjVQdUBQaxyAdMxhtJq8cEVWsAyg\" target=\"_blank\">SU&#8217;s Writing Center<\/a>\u00a0for six years and serving as the English department\u00a0chair for three years at Maple Grove Jr\/Sr High School in Bemus Point, NY. Nicusanti <\/b>received her high school degree from Mount Saint Mary Academy, in Watchung NJ in 2012. She is starting her third year of her Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree at Syracuse University and plans on graduating in 2016. Most of Kathryn\u2019s education here at SU consists of Art History courses and extensive studio classes in the fine arts. As an upcoming junior she interned at<a href=\"http:\/\/www.minasyani.com\/live\/\">Minasyani<\/a> a fine jewelry design company and designer in NYC. She plans on continuing her education at SU focusing on jewelry design courses as well as textiles and other areas in the fine arts. Kathryn also has her own line of jewelry on Etsy,<a href=\"https:\/\/www.etsy.com\/shop\/bohorevival\">Boho Revival<\/a> she, creates and sells her own designs. She plans on going abroad in the Spring of 2015 to Florence, Italy for SU\u2019s study abroad program where she hopes to dive deeper into her Art History major. \u00a0When she\u2019s not designing, studying or in the jewelry studio, Kathryn is either shopping, uploading another #OOTD on Instagram or listening to Lana Del Rey. Contact kmnicusa@syr.edu<\/p>\n<p><b>Audriana Ortega <\/b>is a junior at Syracuse University who is pursuing a major in Finance as well as a minor in Child and Family Policy studies. She is originally from New York City and has 3 sisters, one brother, and two pet dogs. Over the summer, she took classes and lived on campus while interning at a small men\u2019s fashion company called J Allen Inspired, where she is helping the owner get her business off the ground. She has worn many hats at her other positions, such as at Deposit A Gift, where she worked as a Marketing\/Social Media and Business Development Intern, and PFS Inc. where she worked as salesperson, financial educator, and customer service rep and was promoted to District Rep Manager. At PFS Inc., she was sponsored for her Life Insurance License and is currently studying for her Investment Broker\u2019s License. She has dreams of opening a business that focuses on providing a financial education and planning resources and sees herself one day operating a charter school or nonprofit in the education arena. After she graduates in 2016 she hopes to pursue her MA in Accounting for one year in order to complete the 150 credit hour requirement to sit for the CPA exam. At SU, she is an active member of the Delta Gamma sorority and has spent two years on the SU dance team where she competed in the 2013 NDA Collegiate Championships with the team in Daytona, Florida. This summer Alina returned to her hometown in Pittsburgh, PA where she volunteered over 100 hours at the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and interned at a local mortgage bank, Victorian Finance. Alina has used her internships and classes at SU to gain more professional writing experience, but hopes to improve and expand on her writing skills throughout this class. Ripley <\/b>is from Rochester, New York where he went to Rush-Henrietta Senior High School and received his diploma in 2012. Lucas has played baseball since he was 4 and played for his school from 8th grade through his senior year. In his senior year, he was selected to the Monroe County All-County team as a pitcher. After he graduated, Lucas then began attending Syracuse University where he is currently in his junior year. He is majoring in Chemical Engineering in L.C. Smith College of Engineering and Computer Sciences while working on a minor in Economics. Lucas also has a twin sister who goes to St. John Fisher College in Rochester and an older brother. When he isn\u2019t busy going to classes, Lucas spends a good amount of time either doing his school work or going to the gym to play basketball. After the internship was over, he went to California for a week. Some skills Evan has are being certified in Microsoft Excel,having expertise in sales, and fluent in two languages. \u00a0A fun fact about Evan is that he currently runs a sneaker business. She is a member of the United States Figure Skating Association and the blog MusicCreatesUs. While earning a Girl Scout badge she discovered her passion for figure skating.
