During the regular academic school year I’m a full-time professor at Rowan University, a large school in South Jersey, about 30 minutes from Philadelphia. I moved there with my family two years ago, after earning my PhD from Syracuse University, where I studied writing and cultural rhetoric. I am originally from Buffalo and although I lived in Nevada for a few years, I have spent most of my life in Western and Central New York. (That said, I am new to Cornell, so I hope we can help each other orient ourselves as we come to know this amazing university!). I am an avid fan of Buffalo sports teams and when I’m not teaching I’m usually reading, writing, parenting my three wild kids, or buying records. I look forward to getting to know you this summer!
